School Uniform

 

 At Parochial C of E Primary School, we believe that wearing a smart and practical school uniform helps our children feel part of our school community. Our uniform policy is designed with value for money, health and safety, and a readiness for learning in mind.

 

What Pupils Should Wear

Boys’ Uniform:

  • Navy sweatshirt or jumper (school logo optional)

  • Pale blue polo shirt or shirt

  • Navy or grey school trousers (or school shorts in summer)

  • Sensible black shoes

  • Optional: School book bag with logo

Girls’ Uniform:

  • Navy sweatshirt or cardigan (school logo optional)

  • Pale blue polo shirt or shirt

  • Navy or grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore

  • White socks or navy tights

  • Pale blue and white gingham dress (summer option)

  • Sensible black shoes

  • Optional: School book bag with logo

 PE Kit

 

 All children (EYFS–Y6):

  • Pale blue t-shirt

  • Navy school shorts

  • Black pumps

  • Optional: School gym bag with logo

Y2–Y6 additional kit:

  • Jogging trousers

  • Long-sleeved jumper or hoodie

  • Trainers

 
PE kits should be kept in school all week and must be clearly named.

 Footwear

  • Sensible black school shoes should be worn (no boots or trainers).

  • Children may travel in wellingtons or warm boots during poor weather but must bring school shoes to change into.

Not Permitted

  • No make-up or nail varnish

  • No jewellery, other than single stud earrings

  • No branded fashion wear or sports kits

Labelling

Please ensure all clothing and footwear is clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Religious Items and Clothing

We welcome children of all faiths and beliefs. Any requests regarding religious clothing will be considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with our uniform and inclusion policies.

Uniform items can be purchased from local supermarkets or our official supplier:
MCS Stores

Jumpers, cardigans, book bags, and gym bags with the Parochial logo are optional.

Second-Hand Uniform

Good quality second-hand uniform is available via the office entrance.
Donations are also welcome.
