Debate Mate Team Receive Congratulations from Deputy Prime Minister

We are incredibly proud of our Debate Mate team, who recently received a personal letter from Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner recognising their success and wishing them luck as they prepare for the national final in London.

In her letter, Angela Rayner—MP for Ashton-under-Lyne and Deputy Prime Minister—praised the pupils for their confidence, teamwork, and eloquence, describing them as “dab hands at debating.” She also wished them the very best for the final and encouraged them to take lots of pictures to remember the occasion.
